Brand Overview
Scorpio Lamonte Eyewear is a luxury brand based in Orlando, Florida. Founder Scorpio Mosley, had issues finding the perfect lenses to fit his face. He tried several designer brands and with no luck he was told to settle for a wire frame bifocal, which still didn’t fit. Rather than giving up Scorpio decided to design his own custom eyewear in the styles he enjoyed and the perfect fit for his face. After Scorpio created the first few versions he began to question if others had the same problem he did, and then Scorpio Lamonte Eyewear was born.
Design
After reviewing the current assets we decided to do a subtle rebranding of the logos, color pallet and vision. Previous variations of the Scorpio Lamonte logo were cluttered, not aesthetically pleasing and did not communicate a luxury brand. Our goal was to create a clean and timeless logos that would be seen all the products, packaging and digital spaces.
Target Demographic
After researching many designer eyewear brands we began to discover a few similarities as well as many differences. We knew the age group of our buyers are men ages 23-38 who make a minimum of $40,000 a year. They are obsessed with the NBA and NFL culture and they fantasize about places like Miami, New York City and Los Angeles. These men are regulars at nightclubs and enjoy their time outside of work for relaxation. These men are often viewed as materialistic but pay close attention to their appearance.
